- How is COVID-19 impacting my upcoming travel plans with my Paris Pass?
Unfortunately, many sights and cities are currently closed for business. We advise you to check attraction websites for the most up-to-date information.
Please note that we are now offering the ability to extend your pass for up to 2 years from the date of purchase and refunds on unused passes up to 90 days after purchase.

Here’s the good news: you don’t have to do a thing! We’re taking care of that for you. Your pass will work for 2 years from the date of purchase. So relax and don’t worry - you have plenty of time to visit your favourite city once we are up and running again.
- Should I purchase a pass now for an upcoming trip?
Absolutely! Our Paris Pass is available for advance purchase despite attractions being currently closed. If you purchase a pass now, you can have peace of mind that:
- Passes are at the lowest prices of the season and you can start your experience any time within 2 years from the time of purchase
- You can now obtain refunds on unused passes for up to 90 days after purchase. Within the first 14 days, you will receive a full refund. If your request falls between day 15 and day 90, your refund will be subject to a processing fee. See the Terms & Conditions for more information.
- You are supporting the tourism recovery effort and helping our family of attraction partners! - How should I prepare for my upcoming trip?
We recommend you check the travel advisory from your local authority for travel planning.
However, we do advise checking opening times of attractions directly on the attraction website and if unsure we’re on hand to help through our various customer service channels, detailed above.
We also know that your future travel plans may change, that’s why we’re offering 90-day cancellation. Plus, you have up to 2 years to start using your pass - and you don’t have to commit to the date in advance. This means you can plan your sightseeing safely in the knowledge that you’re protected if things change. - Where can I get travel updates?
We recommend you monitor the local government’s website for updates on the situation on a local level, as well as checking the travel guidelines for your country.

- Can I skip the lines
Yes, if you have a Paris Pass you qualify for fast track entry into many museums and attractions in Paris, particularly: The Louvre, The Musee D’Orsay, Centre Pompidou & Grevin Wax Museum.
- Is there any benefit in buying the pass now
If you purchase the Paris Pass in advance, online, then you have the option to get it posted to you before you travel. This allows you to plan in advance and make an itinerary with the information provided to you in our guidebook.
Then, as soon as you arrive in Paris, you can start using your card!
The Paris Pass will be valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.

- How does The Paris Pass work
The Paris Pass is designed to help save you money and time when visiting the capital. It’s simple and easy to use and combined with an extensive free 120+ page Guidebook and website, we can help you plan your visit to Paris.
The Paris Pass comes in 2, 3*, 4 and 6 day durations to suit all kinds of trips, from short weekend city breaks, to longer vacations. Your Paris Pass is activated the first time you scan it through at an attraction and is valid to use for consecutive days of your Pass duration – 2, 4, 3 or 6 days. Watch our video to find out more.

The Pass is a package made up of different elements: the Paris Museum Pass which gives you free entry to over 55 of Paris’s most famous museums; the Paris Attractions Pass which provides free entry to Paris’s best attractions including Musee Grevin, Seine River Cruise and a Wine Tasting experience; a Paris Visite Pass, which allows you to travel for free on the Paris transport system; a hop-on, hop-off free Paris Bus tour and many other discounts and offers.
Purse value
The Paris Pass is also subject to a 'purse value' of maximum gate prices (a total value of attraction entries) related to the number of days on your pass. For example; with a 6-day adult Paris Pass, you get a whopping €432 worth of attraction entry! If you exceed your purse value, the pass will expire. Once activated, you can use your pass for the length of your pass duration, on consecutive days. Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, the Paris Pass is your complete sightseeing package to Paris.

Validity
- How long is the Paris Pass valid for
The Paris Pass if valid for the duration of the pass purchased; ie, 2, 3, 4 or 6 days. These days must be used on consecutive days.
Your pass will be activated as soon as you go to your first attraction, or activate it on any public transport, so be aware that if your pass is activated at 5pm or in the evening, this will count as your first calendar day.
The Paris Pass is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, so it makes the perfect gift for anyone planning to travel later in the year. Likewise, if you aren’t sure of when to plan your trip, you can purchase the pass in advance and with the help of our guidebook, start planning an itinerary before you go.
- When can I start using the Pass
You can use your Paris Pass as soon as you have it! To begin using it you must first sign and date the Paris Pass, Paris Museums and Monuments Pass and the Paris Visite Travelcard.
In addition you must write the serial number of the Paris Visite Travelcard on the ticket that is passed through the ticket machine. The card and ticket must be kept together at all times and both must be shown in the case of inspection.
Once activated at an attraction, that will count as your first day and you can start using it straight away to take advantage of the great savings and discounts on offer for the duration of your pass.
- Are the 2 day, 3 day, 4 day and 6 day passes for consecutive daysYes, the passes run on a consecutive day basis. If you have a 2 day Paris Pass and activate your pass on a Monday that will be included as the first day and your last day will be Tuesday.Note: if you start using your pass in the late afternoon or evening that will still count as your first day.
- What happens if I change the date of my trip to Paris
Your Paris Pass (as well as your email confirmation voucher if you planned to collect your order in Paris) is valid for two years from the date of purchase.
- What happens if my plans change and I can’t/don’t use The Paris Pass
For all customers that purchase passes from September 1 2020 onwards, you can now obtain refunds on unused passes for up to 90 days after purchase. See the Terms & Conditions for more information.
- What should I do if my plans change due to COVID-19?
Many countries have issued preventative responses to the virus, but that doesn’t mean you have to cut your trip short. All passes are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. Find out more here. We are now offering refunds on unused passes up to 90 days after purchase.
- How long is my Museum Pass valid for
Your Museum Pass part of the package is valid for the duration of the Paris Pass you selected - apart from 3 Day Paris Pass holders who have a 2 Day Museum Pass.

- How do you define a childYou can buy a Child Passes for 4-11 year olds and you will need a Teen Passes for 12-17 year olds.Adult Passes are 18 year olds and above.Please note: Teen Passes do not come with a Museum Pass included. If a Teen is planning on visiting museums and monuments unaccompanied by an adult, an Adult Pass is required.
- How much would a standard daily Travelcard cost
1 day travel ticket would normally cost €12, so you’d be making a significant saving if you were to buy the 6 day Paris Pass, with the Travelcard included in the price of the pass.
- Do you offer discounts for groups, students or senior citizens
Because the Paris Pass has been specially created to help visitors save both time and money, we do not offer any further discounts when booking.

- Can I buy The Paris Pass for a group
You can purchase up to 20 tickets per ticket type when you buy online. The Paris Pass, however, is not designed for large groups of travellers and in some cases large groups may be turned away from certain attractions.
If you are travelling in a large group, contact each attraction in advance to avoid any disappointment.
Please note: Teen Paris Passes do not come with a Museum Pass included. If a group of Teens will be visiting museums and monuments unaccompanied by an adult, an Adult Paris Pass will be required.
- How do I use an offer code or discount codeEnter and redeem your offer code on the checkout page after you have chosen your product(s).Note: Offer codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
- Why haven't I received my email confirmation
Your email confirmation should normally arrive in your inbox a few minutes after completing a transaction/purchase. If you haven't received an email confirmation then we recommend you check your spam filter or junk folder.
If you still cannot locate an email then please send a request through to our customer service team confirming your email address and order reference number.

- What are the normal costs of the attractionsThe entry costs for all attractions vary and may be over €30.00 for an adult ticket. - Does the pass include all of Paris’s attractions
The Paris Pass includes free entry into over 60 Paris museums and art galleries, as well as entry into popular tours and cruises.
- Can I visit the same attraction twice with my Paris Pass
The Paris Pass only allows single entry to each attraction. Repeat entry is not allowed.
- Where can I use The Paris Pass? Which attractions are includedThe Paris Pass can be used in over 60 attractions, museums and galleries, as well as tours and cruises. For example Palace of Versailles, The Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris Opera House and the Seine River Cruise.
- Are the attractions open all year round
Usually, the majority of attractions included on The Paris Pass are open all year round, however, there may be some partial closures around Christmas and New Year.

- How do I find out an attraction’s opening times and closing times

- Is The Paris Pass suitable for those with disabilities and their carers
Some attractions may offer carer places or free entry to visitors with disabilities, so The Paris Pass might not be the most suitable for them as requirements vary from attraction to attraction. Please contact them directly for further information.

- How much can I save with The Paris Pass
With prices starting at just €131 for an Adult pass, the Paris Pass entitles you to free entry to over 60 museums, free travel, a free hop-on, hop-off bus and much more.
To see just five top attractions in Paris; Paris Bus Tour, French Wine Tasting, Palace of Versailles, Seine River Cruise and the Louvre Museum it would cost you €112 in total, if you were to buy an entry ticket per attraction.
So you’re making a staggering saving on being able to visit over 60 top attractions in Paris for free!
- Which Paris Pass offers the best savings
The 6 day Paris Pass is the most economical, working out at under €29 a day when you include the cost of a 6 day travelcard already rolled into the price. For instance, the 6 day Paris Pass is €224 - so each day would work out as just over 37 EUR, but if you were to buy a Travelcard as well that would cost over €50 EUR. So you're really only spending €29 a day to access the top attractions as well as make the most of unlimited travel!

- Do children travel free on Paris public transportChildren under 4 years can ride Paris transport for free.
- Where can I travel with the Paris Visite Travelcard
The Paris Pass includes a Travelcard called the Paris Visite Pass. This gives you unlimited use of Paris’ public transport, including Metro, RER overground trains, buses, trams, SNCF and the Montmartre Funicular.
- Is the transport limited to certain hours of the dayThe Metro is open from 05:30 until 01.15 and on Fridays this extends to 02:15.Local buses, RER and the rail network’s hours of service may vary so consult RATP before you travel.
- Can I store my luggage somewhere while using my Paris Pass?

- If I buy online, how will I get my pass
You can choose to have your Paris Pass delivered to you before you travel, however you must allow 10-15 working days from your order date for the delivery.
Alternatively, you can opt to collect your order once you arrive in Paris.

Yes. We use secure encryption functionality to ensure your personal details are kept safe and unobtainable by others when buying online.
Once the transaction is processed this functionality deletes your card number from our records, so there is no way that anyone can access the number through our website.

Christmas & New Year
- Can I use the Paris Pass over the Christmas period and New Year
Yes. However, please be aware that some Paris Pass attractions and transport networks may operate restricted opening times or close for business during the Christmas and New Year period.
Customers are advised to contact attractions before visiting to confirm opening times, and to avoid 25th December when planning your Paris Pass usage. Your Paris Pass will be valid for the consecutive days purchased even if you are unable to use the pass on one or more of those days.
