Fragonard is a synonym of exclusivity and luxury – they have been creating perfumes combining traditional techniques with the most modern methods since 1926. Fragonard Parfumeur Museum welcomes visitors to discover some of the secrets behind their famous scents.
The first of Fragonard's museums, Le Musée du Parfum, is a 19th-century town house containing a collection of perfumery objects from throughout the ages. The second museum, the théâtre musée des Capucines, first opened in 1900 and today tells the story of 3000 years of perfume making through a selection of the loveliest Fragonard perfume bottles. A miniature factory at the museum is composed of 19th-century copper distilling apparatus and demonstrates methods for extracting raw materials.
